Consultation on School Admission Arrangements for 2019-2020
The 2014 School Admissions Code states that admission authorities must consult every seven years regarding the admission arrangements schools use to process applications for school places.
We are therefore consulting on the admission arrangements that we use for The Mirfield Free Grammar and Sixth Form. This consultation period will last for 6 weeks and will close on 22 December, 2017.
There has been no change to the over-subscription criteria. However, the definition of 'older brother or sister' (the younger sibling rule) has been clarified.

If you would like to comment, we must receive your views by 22 December, 2017 at the latest.
Please send your comments to us.
