UKMT Maths Challenge
On Thursday approximately 120 students from Years 9 and 10 took part in the UKMT Intermediate Individual Maths Challenge. Thousands of students from schools all over the UK take part in the challenge every year hoping for success. The challenge is aimed at problem solving in Mathematics and even though some students found it difficult, they were keen to have a go and show their resilience! Well done to our students and let’s keep our fingers crossed for lots of awards to come their way!
Earlier in the academic year our 6th Form Mathematicians completed the UKMT Senior Individual Maths Challenge. We received 4 Silver Awards and 12 Bronze awards with Richard and Alex achieving the highest marks in their years. Next it will be the turn of our Year 7's and 8's in April.
