Year 7 Graduation

In preparation for Chris Cook’s ‘Be the Best You Can Be’ Celebration and Year 7 Graduation Assembly, which took place on 29 June, students were set their final individual ‘Be the Best You Can Be’ challenge; this was based on demonstrating how their communication skills have developed throughout the year. The challenge included completing a written personal reflection on the successes and challenges they had experienced in Year 7, followed by an interview with a member of the Senior Team. All students excelled in this process and the Senior Team were impressed with their preparation, communication and confidence throughout the interview process.

In the ‘Be the Best You Can Be’ Celebration Assembly students were also able to share with Chris Cook their Tutor Group’s success with the first four challenges. The Graduation Ceremony also celebrated the culmination of the hard work that each and every student has put in to making their transition to The MFG a resounding success. It was an extremely special moment where we came together to celebrate the effort and achievements of all students across Year 7 and I am sure that this is something that will stay with them for a very long time to come. It was also fantastic to see so many parents and family members come to peruse the ‘Graduation Gallery’ to view and enjoy the amazing pieces of work that have been completed by their son or daughters and their peers.
